The pool of people taking out mortgages in America is actually becoming less white. We don’t see that here as much. That’s nationwide. But the share of U.S. mortgages taken out by white homebuyers has declined over the last five years, while the share taken out by Hispanic, black and Asian homebuyers is actually ticked up. You know, our market in the Bay Area is super diverse.
We don’t just deal with white people or just Indian people. We’re just Asian people. We deal with kind of everyone. And in that sense, this is kind of good news, right? Iris, have you been seeing a more diverse crowd? Are you seeing, you know, a certain demographic in the areas that are doing open houses?
I mean, in the Bay Area, there’s obviously, you know, really diverse. We’re seeing, you know, not just white people, a lot of Asian.
