Well, what can a buyer just go directly with the person listing the house instead of, you know, paying no commission? Right. I just get the house directly. Is there any danger to that as a buyer? Well, they overpay. There are, yeah. So when a seller works with an agent, the agent is their fiduciary. Yeah. And what that means is they’re here to represent them and protect their rights in this transaction.
And that is their fiduciary duty. Their fiduciary duty is always to the seller first. Everything else comes second. So when you’re working with the listing agent, they’re always going to be representing the seller. So you’re telling me that this person is supposed to be fiduciary for both sides actually has a conflict of interest in the end of the day?
At the end of the day. So how is that even legal? It is. It is legal where we’re definitely able to do dual agency.
